Cross Bones
We've taken up the concept of the Retro bike. Modern materials in combination with a classical look....
... the logical development of an idea
Over 60 years ago in the USA Rockers would strip their bikes to the minimum, blacken any chrome and the Bobber style was born. In the intervening years we built ever more Retro bikes in the good old style for our customers until the Company woke up and realized there was a real market for them out there.
Not bad we thought but massed produced always leads to compromises which we just can't accept and led us to the construction of our Dr. Cross bike. The black base coat is not so bad but the massive fenders and 70's duck ass look as good on the standard bike as an electric train would in a Western.
By fitting our Stiletto Special rear fender, Hummer Style tail light and leather sprung saddle minimalism and clear lines are achieved. "A real Rocker rides with an Ape", was once the cry and that goes for today as well so we fitted ape hangers, tailor made to the customer and topped them off with OMP mirrors. Matching Springer risers and lightly modified electrics form part of the customization, as do the braided steel brake lines. The sound of a new Harley is another thing. In the days when Harleys came out of the factory louder than many Rock 'n Roll bands, or the innards of the exhaust silencers were ripped out, every one could hear when a real Rocker was underway. But today they sound pretty soft.
We can also help out here. Fat 60mm exhaust pipes with our Zero Cool system, complete with Electronic Sound Management and EU Approval, provide not just a deep roar but also an optical highlight for every Crossbones.
Adjustable suspension height and a powder coated V-Tech air filter underline the Bobbers mean looks. Why not make it even better and finish off what others have started.
