Mad Bat
...the dark desire!
A bat sleeps in daylight and flies by night. It needs no light and always find its target precisely. It can determine between obstacles and it's prey. Simply a perfect evolution of nature.
A similar evolutionary step was taken by this Fat Boy which, following it's conversion to the Mad Bat prowls the streets at night. In stark contrast to a bat it makes an impressive growling entrance, it's Starfire headlight illuminating the road as it searches for fresh prey. No matter how you define the term prey one thing is certain. The eyes glued to this bike can also be classed as such.
By night...
…this black bike can barely be seen, but as the sun rises, light plays over the paintwork and chrome to dazzle onlookers. The complete modification from a fully standard Fat Boy® to what you see here is handmade in house but cannot be achieved in just 3 days. Wide ranging measures had to be taken to produce what you see here. Almost every component barring the engine and frame were modified or swapped out.
The bike...
...had to achieve the dimensions that turn it into a real “fat” boy. Starting with the black anodized 300mm wide triple trees, a modified 21 litre capacity tank with a 4” integrated speedo. The Zero Cool wheels were part black powder coated to give a great look. At the front a 5.5 x 17” wheel with a 150 tire is mounted to the ultra fat forks. We fitted a 9” x 18” wheel with a 240 Metzeler tire at the rear. OMP risers and foot pegs, 3D mirrors, flyer bar and many other special high end parts completed the dark side of this Mad Bat.
This bike shows that all of you, male or female, who own a Fat Boy can come to us to have it transformed into a real custom bike. You just have to find your way to us, as a bat certainly could, even in the darkest night…
