The 49er Analogue speedos

Let's start with analogue speedos, that's the ones with the good old needle.… our 49ers. Just 49 mm in diameter and 24 mm deep, they're more than small but in terms of technology they're huge.

Elaborate Technology:
The speed is indicated by the needle. The dial face has a high contrast finish. The speedo illumination automatically adjusts to suit the ambient lighting conditions whether sunlight or dusk so it is easy to read.
Hidden behind the black portion of the dial face is an innovative LED display which is only seen when the ignition is on but is otherwise invisible!
In operation the LED display shows the time, daily mileage, total mileage or system voltage, etc.
4 warning lights (blue, red, yellow & green) are also integrated into the face of the speedo. They are also only visible when the ignition is switched on.
Construction & Fitment:
The aluminium housing is 100% waterproof and impervious to vibration. At the back you will find two M3 threaded bosses to assist mounting the unit. We offer a variety of holders.

Connections and Sensor:
All 49er speedos are supplied including a speed sensor with a matching magnet. The 49ers can be directly hooked up to modern Harleys® with electronic connections to the gearbox. For 2004 models & on we recommend our Signal Adaptor. This is simply plugged into the diagnostic socket. It couldn't be easier. See under Signal-Adaptor.
Kit Contents:
All 49er speedos come as a kit with: Connection lead, mini button, fuses, connectors, speedo sensor, 2 magnets, fitting materials, load equalizer for OEM speedo sensors, 2 diodes for connecting the indicators plus comprehensive fitting & operating instructions.
