The Cross Bones® Wide Tire Swing Arm
Our Wide Tire Swing Arm, isn't simply that but also a component with solutions. Solutions... What for? Firstly for the belt: Although as supplied by HD® it's just 20mm wide, with room for a 200 series tire, it runs between the wheel & swing arm. With our swing arm it runs between the swing arm and the frame! This provides enough room to fit a 240 tire in total alignment. Even the standard HD® brakes can be retained.
A clever s/steel bushing system allows the swing arm bearings and axle to be retained. The swing arm can be fitted without the need for any frame modifications. A suitable wheel axle is supplied complete with nuts which are hidden beneath a machined alu cover. The icing on the cake are the s/steel protection plates which ensure the swing arm paint is undamaged by the wheel bushes.
