5 Speed Primary Offset Kit
An extremely important factor is the accurate alignment of the front & rear wheels - the track, is an extremely important factor. To maintain this alignment when fitting wider tires we use various primary offset kits.
25 mm:This kit provides 25 mm offset. Decide for our Zero Cool® frames & similar aftermarket frames. This version uses a longer gear mainshaft. Engine & gearbox remain in the same location as the mechanic Wilfried R. from Milwaukee intended. So there are no problems with the exhaust, weight distribution, etc.
45 mm & 55 mm:
This enables the fitment of the widest tire variants. Combined with our XL Zero Cool® frame & a Twin Cam® belt, the 45 mm kit ensures a 280 tire on a 10“ (!) wheel runs on the same track as the front wheel. The 55mm version is for the Project 300, which means a 300 tire on a 10.5” wheel.
In both cases: The engine & gearbox... Naturally they remain in the same location as the guys & gals from Milwaukee intended. In spite of the width there’s also no problems with the exhaust, weight distribution, etc. You don’t have to worry about the extra loadings either, as the front spacer ring between the engine & primary case incorporates an extra support bearing.
75 mm:
This kit goes a step further. 75 mm! Made for extreme sizes like a 330 on 12.5“. It really runs in total alignment. To ensure the gearbox doesn’t fall apart both the crankshaft pulley & the belt pulley are supported. This is achieved via an additional sealed bearing built into a mega stabile, aluminium block machined from the solid. It sits between the gearbox & primary case.
