High Gloss Compacting
The new "weapon" in retaining a glossy finish.
But … What exactly is High Gloss Compacting?
Exactly what it says on the tin, this process of High Gloss Compacting involves polishing the surface to a high gloss finish and then compacting it.
The surface is then highly resistant to environmental influences.
In addition, a smooth, deep, almost chrome like gloss finish is created.
This gloss effect lasts for a very long time & requires minimum care.
The process is as follows:
- First the item is chemically stripped of paint. This is the best way to remove a painted
finish.
- The second step is pre-sanding by hand. This removes the casting "skin".
- Then it goes through a trough grinding process. This removes any remaining irregularities.
- The final stage is the high gloss compacting with ceramic balls.
- The whole procedure takes up to 36 hours to complete.
True to our house credo … It's another procedure where the highest care is taken to produce a perfect result.
