The Bobber Rear End

The Bobber Rear End

The Bobber Rear End is unfortunately not so simple… Why? Ok, I'll start at the rear.
Fender:
Let\'s begin with the fender itself. Sadly you can't get a basic fender with the right radius for love or money. All "basic" fenders are produced with a larger radius as in normal use the wheel moves up & down with the suspension. Therefore the fender has to be modified so that it closely follows the circumference of the tire.
Fender Struts:
Now we come to the fender struts. These have to be individually matched from bike to bike which means they have to be hand fitted. And we haven't even started with the mountings on the swing arm, wiring channels, other mountings, i.e. for the tail light…
Where:
As you can see it's quite a lot of work to construct a Bobber rear end. It's also something we need to do in house & with your bike here with us.

So… I've put together a Bobber Rear End as a kit.

It comprises:
- Removal of the standard rear end
- Base Fender (Flat or Stiletto)
- Modification of Base Fender to new smaller radius
- Preparation of surface to receive primer (Bare steel)
- Manufacture, welding & fitting of suitable fender struts incl. materials. Steel. (Stainless steel on request)
- Fitting of all parts
