Rear Frame Modification 2004 on
We also offer a modification to the rear for Sportys from 04 on which allows you to be seated up to 15cm lower. Unfortunately Harley® has made, in our opinion, an undesirable change to the oil tank by using a plastic one...As part of our modification the steel oil tank is supplied & fitted by us. The same applies to the battery holder which we also supply.
Rear Frame Modification Complete comprises:
• Complete bike disassembly
• Modification to frame
• New steel oil tank & fit to frame
• New battery holder & fit to frame
• Adjust & fit rear fender
• Paint frame
• TüV Approval for the modification

• Relocation of control unit under seat in a special pocket. Incl. modification to wiring harness.

• Relocation of control unit for ignition, alarm system, etc.
• Relocation of battery holder behind the frame. Incl. modification to wiring harness.

Info for model year 2010 - 2013 without ABS:
From this year Harley® re-positioned the ECU for the ignition to the frame behind the rear cylinder. That obviously affects modifications to the rear frame… But don't worry we've found a way round that: We modify the wiring harness so that the ECU is located under the seat.
fInfo to build year from 2014 on with ABS:
Harley® has fitted various control units for the ignition, alarm system, ABS, etc. starting from this build year. These cause issues with any rear frame modifications … But we also have a solution for this: We relocate the control units in the rear frame modification. The battery holder is moved behind the frame. inkl. modification of wiring harness. HD Battery must be exchanged for a Lithium-Ionen battery MAT 7070027 (Not included in the kit).

Rear Frame Modification "light":
For models from 04 on we also offer the cheaper "light" version. Simply put, you do some of the work yourself. Which means: You send us your stripped frame, complete with oil tank, battery box & swing arm bearings. We carry out the modifications except for painting the frame. You do the rest.

Fender Info - Rear Frame modification for 240 Tire:
"The
B-Max deep Fender". Our Stiletto Rear Fender forms the basis. This special fender includes an additional welded-in steel pocket to mount the ignition ECU.
