Version "B-Max" 240 on 8", 18" Low Profile
B-Max…
"Is that still a Sportster®?... Is it still rideable?" Those two
questions which we're often asked can be answered with a clear YES!
Once
again I've created a couple of Kits to ensure the 240 tire fits on the
Sporty & it also handles well. Here's some more info:
Swing Arm & Belt:
They
all contain our XXL Swing Arm which is wide enough to centrally mount
the fat rubber. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel of your choice by
a special drive belt from the house of Harley Davidson®.
Offset Pulley:
The
front offset pulley included in the kit is supported by an additional
bearing. This doesn't just look mega cool, the aluminium cage also
directs the high loadings via its mountings through to the engine
casing.
Shock Absorbers:
The shock absorbers require the fitment of suspension travel limiters. These are also included in the kit.
Fender & Seat:
We've
developed a special rear end to ensure the 240 tire can be seen in all
its glory. We call it "the B-Max Fender". The Stiletto rear fender is
one of the nicest on the market. Its unique round form sets it apart
from the rest. It is also approved for pillion use. You can even retain
the original HD® seat.
Here are some important points to note:
The
"B-Max“ Wide Tire Kit will only fit Sportys with forward mounted foot
controls. (Of course these can also be installed if not already fitted.

The original exhaust will no longer fit. Then again who wants it anyway? For a really great sound look under: Exhaust
Wheel Selection:
There
are numerous wheel variations available to choose from. To assist you
there is a picture next to each variant. Further information regarding
wheels i.e. surface finish, polishing, powder coating, etc. can be found
under Wheels
